Jasmine Golphin

Jasmine is at that odd space between film student and indie filmmaker.  After being everything from a grip to an UPM to cinematographer on countless shorts at Cleveland State University, she has decided that now is the time to venture into feature length filmmaking. With her roots firmly in Cleveland, she wants this film to be the first of many she shoots here in this fair city. This desire, of course, comes with faintly concealed words of doubt and open questions of her sanity from those around her.  Such is the life of an artist.

A rarely photographed man, Jayson is probably going to sigh audibly at the sight of this description. But something needed to be posted here, so here goes. Also a recent graduate of CSU, Jayson co-wrote Maternal Pride with Jasmine. Outside of providing creative plot turns, working through difficult second acts and other various co-writer responsibilities , Jayson also provided the very necessary bribes...excuse me, "intensives" to keep Jasmine focused on completing the script in a timely manner.

Lady Silk is a wadrobe stylist from Cleveland, Ohio who loves to help others look their best. She graduated from both Central State University and Virginia Marti College and is forever pursuing her goals while wearing the color purple.

The cast and crew is made up of local artists, people who haven't given up on Cleveland just yet.  They hope that their efforts show that Cleveland is anything but a dying city and that there are very talented artists here ready to create.
